If you ever worked in graphic design industry you probably know what kind of surprises you might come upon while designing your work. Imagine you are making an ad and need vectorized logo which your client supplied as a bitmap (of course). You probably think you will find it on the Web because everything must be on the Web. Then you find out it's a myth. Vector graphics is actually one of those small areas which is very underrepresented on the Internet and very difficult to find.
If you are looking for vector art, it is big probability it will cost you some money. If it's free then it's hidden under the ocean of pop-ups or other advertisments. Vectorportal intends to offer helping hand to everyone who works with vector graphics through free vector files, tutorials and news from the industry.
It should work as a universal source for free vector files. It relies on all artists out there to upload vector stuff they have and download what they need. If it's not available here, then we will try to find links for totally free stuff.
